SALES MANAGER APAC - BARCELÓ HOTEL GROUP
About the job
• Define and coordinate with our Head office (located in both Spain and Dubai) the Hotel group commercial strategy and Business Plan for the APAC region.
• Apply and develop the commercial strategy and actions of the properties in the area (meaning APAC) .
• Analyze and know the market and existing or potential competition, proposing actions that allow increasing the market share for Asian markets and positioning of the Hotels.
• Analyze and interpret, together with the sales team, external and internal sources of information.
• Maintain direct relationship with the main clients within the Asia region of the Company around operations.
• Incorporate new clients for the chain within the Asian market and manage the existing portfolio. -
• Coordinate and implement, together with the European Sales Department, different advertising campaigns for the Asian Markets.
• Participate in fairs and events, maintaining and caring for business relationships with institutions in the APAC area.

About you
• Diploma Hospitality, Tourism or assimilated.
• A highly experienced director of sales & marketing with in-depth market knowledge to help develop the markets with at least 5 years of experience in commercial department in Asia region (previous experience is Thailand will be highly considered).
• Commercial attitude and clear customer orientation.
• Excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
• Should be self-motivated and independent and passionately result-driven.
• Knowledge is required about: Revenue Management, Sales Strategy Development and strong negotiation & sales monitoring.
