The Position/Role

We are looking for an Assistant In Room Dining Manager reporting to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • The Assistant In Room Dining Manager will assist in overseeing all facets of In Room Dining and Pool, ensuring consistent and thoughtful service

  • Basic budgeting, accounting and financial management

  • Organizational skills for all team members and daily activities

  • Communication skills with guests and staff

  • Solid knowledge of Food & Beverage, beer, wine, and sprits

  • Hires, trains, supervises and coaches staff

  • Maintains a friendly yet unobtrusive manner with all guests during their dining experience

  • Communicates with other departments to ensure a supporting team of professionals

  • Assist to oversee other dining outlets as MOD when necessary

  • Communicates with Culinary Team and fellow Food & Beverage Management to discuss menus, marketing strategies and guests comments and concerns

  • Develops all staff for future advancement; recommends salary adjustments, transfers, promotions and dismissals

  • Completes and conducts performance evaluations for all employees

  • Attends and participates in all required meetings

  • Promotes team works and fosters a harmonious working climate

  • Promotes good public relations and handles complaints or concerns of guests

  • Properly handles and reports employee and guest accidents

  • Performs other tasks and projects as assigned by hotel management and staff

  • Other duties as assigned



Qualifications and Skills

  • Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America

  • Minimum of 2 years in luxury hospitality management

  • Computer and POS proficient preferred e.g., Microsoft word, excel, Micros, Opera

  • Proficiency in English Language

  • Constant standing and walking
