Four Seasons Resort Nevis is seeking an Cook 2 with a passion for excellence and great enthusiasm in providing exceptional service standards. Four Seasons Resort Nevis is located on the western coast of the Caribbean island of Nevis, sister island to St. Kitts, and the birthplace of U.S. Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The Four Seasons Resort Nevis is looking for suitable qualified applicants to fill the position of Cook 2. The successful candidate will report to the Chef de Partie/ Sous Chef.

Essential Functions

  • Set up the station by obtaining all equipment and materials needed.
  • Prepare all mise en place needed for station.
  • Prepare station for service.
  • Prepare and plate all items received from the computer system in a timely and accurate manner and communicate with cooks regarding timing.
  • Ensure a neat, clean and organized work area.
  • Properly break down the station by storing foods properly and carefully after labeling them.
  • Turn off all equipment ensuring no safety hazard has been left behind.
  • Complete requisitions when needed.


Skills and Abilities

  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • High school graduate.
  • Two years of experience in hotels or other similar facilities.
  • Knowledge of the use of broiler equipment and understanding of meat and fish cookery.
