Located in the heart of Alexandria overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria holds 154 spacious rooms, suites and beach villas designed by the renowned Pierre Yves-Rochon and is only a 10-minute walk from the Royal Jewelry Museum and 9 km from the Library of Alexandria.
The main complex of the hotel includes 10 outlets including restaurants and bars, meeting rooms, spa, indoor pool and gym.
Opposite the hotel, a long stretched, sandy beach with lush green landscaping unfolds the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. It is easily accessible by an under-passage from the hotel. The Beach facilities include 30 beach suites, an infinity seawater pool, a beach restaurant, gym, and kids area.

Director of Engineering forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel. The Director oversees a team of Engineering and Maintenance specialists responsible for all engineering operations for interior/exterior facilities including plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structural, recycling, electrical, ground care and parking areas. The Director is also responsible for Life/Fire safety systems, energy/green initiative systems and management of other engineering work necessary to maintain the property in an efficient condition to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and employees.
We are looking for individuals who have solid project management skills (including annual and long-term capital expenditures), procurement and planning, leading the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel, and budget planning and management. You will also lead the Safety Committee and the energy conservation program, evidence a strong work/ethic, adaptability and flexibility and leadership skills.
Applicants are required to have five years previous management experience in in upscale luxury hotel or building engineering maintenance with minimum two years of experience at same level (DOE).
Qualification Requirement :
- Bachelor Degree of Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) and certified Engineering Operations Executive
- Excellent reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language. Must be familiar with and have computer skills, Excel, Word, CMMS & BMS Systems.
- Knowledge of blueprints, wiring diagrams, hydraulics and Construction Documents and Procedures.
- Willing to relocate and possess an innate ability to adapt and live in countries with diversified cultures, beliefs, and traditions.
