About You and Your role

You will assist in providing the operational support to the Housekeeping Department, oversee employees including but not limited to room attendants, supervisors, public area, valet and laundry employees. You will be in-charge for the day to day operation in the Housekeeping department in making sure all runs smoothly for guests and employees.

JOB OVERVIEW

Under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, the Night Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all public and back of house areas, assigned to the Housekeeping Department, meet the highest standards as set by Four Seasons Hotels. The Night Cleaning Supervisor also manages the Night Cleaners and conducts inspections on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Conducts self in a professional manner at all times.  Adheres to the established standard of conduct and house rules, fire regulations, and department procedures and policies.
• Dresses in issued uniform and ensures a neat, clean, and tidy appearance at all times.
• Report to work on time.  Is aware of schedule at all times and if unable to attend work, notifies the Supervisor in adequate time.
• Prepares nightly assignment for the Night Cleaners and conducts pre-shift meeting.  Cleaning the house according to the present cleaning schedule.  Must update said schedule in order to adjust to business volume. 
• Ensures that cleaners/attendants have all the necessary equipment such as brooms, mops, and buckets.  Make requisitions one week in advance.
• Check with Director of Housekeeping if any outstanding jobs are to be done.
• Check on the cleaners, encouraging them to do a quick, efficient job.
• Ensure that all areas are clean and tidy.
• Make sure that all equipment is cleaned before it is returned to the storage room and that the storage room is clean.
• Notify the Director of Housekeeping, by way of log books, of any inadequacies discovered concerning this shift or any of the employees assigned to the shift. ​
• Conduct general cleaning as per a schedule set on Monthly / quarterly basis.             

QUALIFICATIONS

• Good communication skills.
• Eye for details.
• Leadership skills.
• EU work authorization required

What to Expect

This position is offered for a define period of time of 24 months with a possible unlimited extend based on your performance. Your trial period will be 6 months. Feedback is a key; therefore, you will be asked to give your feedback on regular basis and you will also have an informal chat with your 1 up manager and mentor.
