Housekeeping Pueo/Overnight Supervisor - Temporary Full Time

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Responsibilities 

Manages a team of Room Attendants, House Attendants and Public Area Attendants responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of a specific area of the hotel. Trains, coaches and schedules the staff. Conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed. 

• Schedules work to be done daily, collects room status and checklists for assigned work areas. Monitors each Room Attendant’s daily progress. Inspects completed rooms to assure that all standards have been met. When standards have been missed, brings employee back to room and coaches the employee on how to correct the deficiency. Coordinates work orders in assigned section. Follows up to be sure work is completed. Releases checkout rooms to be sold. 
  
  

• Monitors the performance of House Attendants & Public Area Attendants. Assures that there are sufficient supplies. Checks cleanliness of indoor/outdoor guests/public areas and linen Closets. 
  
  

• The ability to handle a guest complaint and to provide an appropriate solution 
  
  

• The ability to handle guest requests as quickly as possible 
  
  

• The ability to report any safety, security or maintenance problems immediately. 
  
  

• The ability to communicate and set priorities for the team to meet guests ‘expectations 
  
  

• The ability to utilize the telephones adhering to Four Seasons standards and to utilize the computer system as it relates to Housekeeping. 
  
  

• The ability to properly use the guest call log book to record and relay all requests and information handled through the desk. 
  
  

• The ability to properly use all forms in the department ensuring they are legible and understandable. 
  
  

• The ability to utilize the computer system as it relates to Housekeeping. 
  
  

• The ability to accurately record all items retrieved by housekeeping staff in the lost and found book and ensure that the item(s) are forwarded to Security in a timely manner. 
  
  

• The respect of confidentiality regarding company / guests / internal information 
  
  

• If any call out, the ability to look into the schedule and provide a solution for the affected shift 
  
  

• Updating the daily document for internal communication and sending it at the end of the shift 
  
  

• Provides a detailed hand over to the next shift supervisor/manager 
  
  

Desired Qualifications and Skills 

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States 
  
  

• Previous Housekeeping and/or supervisory experience is required 
  
  
• Ability to communicate professionally and accurately via telephone 
  
  
• Strong Customer Service skills 
  
  
• Ability to accurately read and work with computer systems 
  
  
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United State
