Are you ready to take the next big step in your career? Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is currently looking for a talented and dynamic People and Culture Manager who shares our passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything he/she does!

The People and Culture Manager supports the needs of the business and proactively endeavors to fulfill recruitment needs through strategic and resourceful measures.  This role involves working alongside operational managers and supporting their needs on daily basis, forming a recruitment strategy, making decisions about appropriate recruitment sources, interviewing and selecting applicants in accordance with Labor laws, maintaining relationships with local schools and attending career fairs and events throughout the year. The Manager will also work closely with Finance to advise on labour, payroll, and scheduling needs.

Our People and Culture Manager assists the People and Culture Assistant Manager with our benefits plan (extended health benefits and retirement plan) and has direct involvement in employee relations, employee experience, learning and development, workers’ compensation and legal matters related to hotel employees.

They will also assist both the Regional Director and Assistant Director of People & Culture to carry out daily activities for the People & Culture department.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for individuals with exceptional interpersonal, organization, and communications skills.  Someone who is able to successfully multi-task in a fast-pasted environment, is proactive, creative, and enjoys working in a team environment.

  • A minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience is required
  • Experience in a luxury hospitality organization is an asset
  • Degree in a Human Resources or Hospitality Program is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Canadian Labor law is advantageous
