The Opportunity:

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is currently looking for a Purchasing Coordinator.

Essential function of the job & Qualifications:

  • Maintain purchasing and receiving of Food & Beverage for the Hotel  
  • Maintain and research pricing for purchased goods 
  • Working with the Purchasing Clerk to ensure storeroom is always organized 
  • Accurately maintain records and purchasing orders for accounting 
  • Work with the Chefs to ensure the highest quality of product is ordered and received 
  • Ensure that all goods required to run the Food & Beverage Department are available when necessary 
  • Assist with monthly inventory for the Hotel 
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language 
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Knowledge and Microsoft Office systems, including Word and Excel 
  • Proven knowledge of inventory practices in the hospitality industry 
  • Previous experience in Purchasing and Food & Beverage
  • Flexible schedule required to include weekends and holidays 
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America 
  • Perform all other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.
