A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NIGHT RECEPTIONIST AT Hampton by Hilton, Gatwick Airport
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Night Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.
- Greeting guests, check in and checking out guests and assisting them with any general enquiries
- Serving food and beverage from the 24/7 menu to any late arrivals and residents
- Preparing the Breakfast Buffet for the early opening of the Restaurant which opens at 4am for our residents
- Carrying out security patrols and ensuring teh safety and comfort of our guests during their stay
- Completing the Reception shift and balancing the day's business and running the Night Audit process
- Assisting guests with their forward tarvel plans and making reservations as required

To succeed in the role of Night Team Member/Receptionist, you will need the following qualities and skills.
- You will need to be well presented, approachable and helpful, along with a good command of the English language
- Be able to work well on your own using your own initiative and with others as you are part of a team working on shifts
- Follow the checklist protocols and be confident in computer skills and telephone answering
- Be a good team player and all round problem solver to help our guests
- Have previous experience in guest facing roles and be able to work well in a calm and busy airport enviornment
- have a good stanadrd of numeracy and be able to complete work to timelines as the audit process is an essential part of our daily operation
