Summary
- Maintains a detailed knowledge of Hotel facilities, features and services.
- Professionally conducts routine telemarketing activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Meets and greets VIP guests upon arrival/ departure.
- Conducts regular Market Surveys and Competitor Researches.
- Implements all Events action plans related to responsibility areas as outlined in the Marketing plan.
- Assists Events Buddy to follow-up on all matters in the absence of Events Buddy.
- Reviews and constantly seeks Productivity level improvements through the process of “taking work out of the system” (when appropriate) and thorough streamlining of work process.
- Be the main hotel liaison for all residential M.I.C.E. group and non-residential clients after contracted signed
- Obtain all the clients event requirements and communicate this information to Leadership Committee (LC) and Operational Department Heads through a GROUP RESUME
- Review RESIDENTIAL GROUP FILES to ensure correct booking procedures, including Group room and meeting programs, event set up and themes, contractual agreements, etc are in order
- Provide Leadership Committee and Operational Department Heads accurate Group event forecasts to enable Operating Departments to adjust their operations and manning level
- Ensure deposits/payments from clients are received at the stipulated dates
- Lead the operational team and handle the entire Group from arrival, departure, review and cross-sell.
- Willing and able to stay in-house over major events whenever necessary.
