A little taste of your day-to-day:

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll make sure all our client meetings and events run smoothly - acting as both brand ambassador and trusted partner – you’ll connect internal teams to deliver a seamless experience for planners, hosts and meeting attendees. 

 

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
  • Responsible for driving all segments - Leisure, MICE, Corporate and Direct Bookings.
  • Achieving set sales targets by DOSM and KPI's of hotel. 
  • Sales role - Sourcing accounts, conducting sales calls, tele sales, creating contracts, driving conversions and creating/maintaining sales and revenues reports.
  • Stay aligned with competition and market dynamics. 
  • Conducting Site Inspections and Entertainments as agreed with DOSM.
  • Run projects and tasks as per business requirements.  
  • Participate in strategizing and budget preparation for all segments.
  • Work closely with the marketing team on all promotions.


What We need from you:
  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field  
  • Four or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with direct supervisory experience over a sales team
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required  
  • Must speak local language(s)  
  •  Other languages preferred
