Description
The Executive Floor Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Executive Floor in order to meet the business requirements and guest satisfaction whilst ensuring the highest professional services in accordance with the Kempinski service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Following and comply with each task or job assigned by the department superior leader.
Evaluate the employee requirements and prepare work schedules weekly
Ensure that The Executive Lounge is attended at all times.
Ensure that correct employee is present to meet the daily business demands.
Handle all disciplinary counseling as needed according to Kempinski policy
Communicate anticipated business demands daily with each employee.
Conduct daily shift briefing.
Ensure employee’s knowledge of hotel services, features, and amenities.
Assign specific tasks to the employee as they arise.
Monitor and ensure that The Executive Lounge employees perform their job functions to the hotel’s expected level of service.
Assist The Kempinski Executive Lounge Employees whenever necessary in performing all job functions.
Conduct ongoing training with existing employee and ensure that new employee is certified as required.
Accommodate all guest requests in an accurate end efficient manner.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and working condition of department equipment and supplies.
Prepare work orders for equipment repairs and distribute to Engineering.
Monitor and maintain the condition of The Executive Lounge.
Ensure that all pertinent information is documented in the logbook daily.
Ensure payroll is documented and submitted accurately and promptly.
Conduct performance appraisals of designated employee as required.
Successful completion of the training/certification process.
Skillfully conduct the F&B service, especially the daily breakfast, and skillful on fried eggs.
Knowledge of the buffet set up and service in different operation time.
Knowledge of the dining area cleaning and daily set up.
Basic knowledge of coffee and tea making, as well as service.
Knowledge of alcohol drinks basically, especially on how to make some basic cocktail.
Taking the ownership at the 70F club, pay attention on all decoration, flowers and plants which need to be refreshed or changed.
Be familiar with repeat VIP guests, record and update the guest’s preference according both of rooms and F&B side.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
NATIONALITY: Eligible for a working permit in country of hire
EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: To fill the position, one of the following is required:
3-5 years related experience
LANGUAGE: Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment:
English – excellent oral and written skills
Additional language - beneficial
