About the role

 

Responsible for maintenance and proper functionality of electrical automations systems such as KNX, BMS, AV etc. Daily systems inspections, interventions and reporting. Ensuring that safety measures are followed. 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities As instructed in the following: 

•    Daily on site inspecting of electrical automations systems, KNX, BMS, AV, filling of check lists and acting per instructions of direct superiors.  
•    Diagnose malfunctioning KNX systems, equipment and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and perform reparation and replacement on faulty elements (e.g. relays in switchboards), utilizing hand and power tools.  
•    Programming and re-programming KNX systems and ability to read and understand the existing KNX codes and modules.
•    To respond promptly and accurately on KNX maintenance request and work orders. 
•    Timely and accurately reporting to superiors and relevant parties about completed and uncompleted tasks.  
•    Record of all activities must be properly filled-in in the maintenance software. 
•    Searching for potential improvements in order to reduce malfunctions and improve monitoring quality.  
•    To attend department meetings.  
•    To be familiar with the buildings BoH and public areas, all pieces of equipment and installation (electrical cabinets, switchboards, cable routing, control panels, KNX, BMS, AV, room management system, Access control, electricity meters and other electrical devices…). 
•    To be familiar with main shut ’offs (water, electricity, heating and cooling, Gas) and to react quickly in a case of emergency.  
•    To participate actively in handover process of new buildings 
•    All other duties as assigned by superiors. 
•    To be familiar with safety standards and legal requirements and to followed them in daily activities.

 

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements  

•    Strong technical electrical/automations knowledge. 
•    Certification as electrician from Greek authorities
•    Proven experience as an automations electrician technician on KNX systems, in commercial and/or industrial environment. 
•    Proven success working in a technical team. 
•    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals. 
•    Excellent problem-solving ability. 
•    Good spoken and written English. 
•    Computer literate.
