Produce Daily, Weekly, Monthly Revenue Reports for management reporting.
Prepare reconciliation for VAT reporting purpose.
Accomplish all internal control audits as stipulated in MOHG P&P.
Ensure all revenues that are recorded in the Front Office and F&B system are in compliance with MOHG Policy and Procedure. Any deviations shall be reported to the Operation Manager of Finance immediately for rectification action.
Audit daily in-house guest and city ledger balance with general ledger closing balance in HMS system.
Responsible for the smooth operation of Income Audit section.
Audit Rooms, F&B and MOD revenue and ensure it balances with settlement, service charges and taxes paid by the hotel guest/company.
Perform settlement type balancing by sorting and segregates Front Office guest folios in accordance to settlement type such as cash, credit card and city ledger.
Investigate and correct errors and discrepancies discovered in the audit process, reports any significant findings to the Operation Manager of Finance.
Review adjustment, miscellaneous charges every day to ensure appropriateness and that miscellaneous credits are supported by proper justification and authorization.
Verify invoices for services charged to in-house guest paid to the hotel.
Conduct surprise cash count audit and verify the price on the menu is the same to the F&B system.
Perform audit revenue, discount,rebate, void checks, refund checks, captain order, official receipt, open table and telephone calls etc.
Post revenue and corresponding settlement transaction into Sun general ledger accounting system to produce revenue financial statements.
Check No Show Report on a daily basis.
Perform month end closing activities; prepare and input corresponding journal entries accordingly.
Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet relating to Income Auditor.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of audit completion.
Special tasks assigned from time to time.
