Job Description

Provides functional direction to hotel sales team within Anantara and Avani+ Bangkok to optimize opportunities through proactive planning and execution of sales plans and strategies. The goal is to stimulate demand for the MICE segment and drive incremental revenues. Additionally, cultivates and sustains robust relationships with teams, industry partners, and the broader business community.

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision and goals for the International MICE, aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Plan, organize, and execute high-quality International MICE events, including meetings, conferences, incentives, ensuring they meet the clients’ requirements and exceed their expectations.
  • Conduct research and stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with Clients, suppliers, and industry partners to ensure a seamless and successful event experience.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the International MICE team, providing guidance, support, and training to enhance their skill and performance.
  • Implement and maintain effective event management processes, systems, and best practices to streamline operations and ensure efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and health and safety requirements throughout the planning and execution of International MICE events.
  • Participate in familiarisation visits and entertain as and when required.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience in a 5 star Hotel.
  • Deep knowledge of the International MICE industry, including current trends, best practices, and challenges.
  • Pro-active, self motivated, loves challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to achieve sales targets and work in a highly pressurized. environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Passion to lead and a desire to succeed.
