The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for supervising the service and culinary aspects of restaurant and room service operations. They greet and welcome guests, ensure employees provide courteous service, and maintain venue set-up and ambiance. They have knowledge of menu descriptions, wine lists, and food and beverage recommendations. The supervisor relays orders to the kitchen, serves courses and beverages timely, and follows responsible service guidelines for alcoholic beverages. They also maintain cleanliness, adhere to Public Health regulations, and contribute to business performance by reducing inventory stock, managing food costs, driving revenue, and providing guidance to assistant waiters/waiters.

About you

Qualifications:
· Previous shipboard experience as a head waiter or senior restaurant supervisor/restaurant manager is strongly preferred. Candidates with this experience will be given priority consideration.
· Exceptional candidates without shipboard experience will be considered if they possess a minimum of 2-3 years experience as a restaurant manager in big restaurants or 5-star hotels. This experience must demonstrate strong leadership and management skills.
· Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable, particularly Spanish, Italian, French, German, Dutch, Russian, and Mandarin. Candidates with these language skills will have an advantage in serving a diverse range of guests.
· Excellent communication skills are essential for this role..
· Exceptional customer service skills are a must.
· Strong leadership skills are required to effectively manage and motivate the restaurant team.
  • Language required: English. French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish are a plus
