As a member of the HQ Finance Team, the Assistant Accountant will support in account payable function for supplier invoices, staff claims and hotel invoices. Besides, he / she has to assist in monthly closing and year end closing as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure expenses are incurred in accordance with company policies and guidelines
- To process invoices for Hotel invoices/Supplier invoices/Staff Expenses Claims for verification and approval
- To process monthly payments to suppliers, journals voucher for month end closing, monthly accounting schedules
- To prepare yearly rechargeable accrual list to hotels, yearly accrual list for Manager’s review
- To handle queries from suppliers, other departments & hotels, and to assist Manager to handle Ad-hoc assignments
- To follow up long outstanding items for A/R Misc A/C
- To maintain filling of accounting documents and update PO Register
CRITICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Higher Diploma in accounting or above
- Fresh Graduate / 1-2 years working experience in Accounts Payable
- Knowledge of SUN Accounting System is preferable
- Proficiency in PC applications especially in Microsoft Excel
- Able to work well under pressure and independently
- Good command of both spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
