Assistant Chief Engineer - Repair and Maintenance

DUTIES

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Area Director of Engineering and within the limits established by Shangri-La Hotel Manila policies, procedures and Engineering Manual, supports the Area Director of Engineering in the performance of all his duties and provides all necessary assistance and information specially in the repair and maintenance of Kitchen/Laundry section, Building, Heart of the House areas and all F&B outlets and function rooms.

REQUIREMENTS

• Oral and written fluency in English.
• Graduate of a Mechanical Engineering bachelor's degree course.
• Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) or MechanicalEngineer (PME).
• 2 years as Repair & Maintenance Engineer in a similar size hotel.
• 10 years of experience in the field of Engineering.
• 1 year as AssistantChief Engineer for Repair & Maintenancein an international class hotel or other industrial organization.
• Self-starter, team builder, goal-oriented.
• Tactful and sensitive to employee needs.
• Positive role model with good sense of humor.
• Local package offered.
