Located at the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city center, Traders Hotel by Shangri-La is looking for a dynamic, and multi-skilled talent in delivering our Asian hospitality.
As Chef de Partie (Pastry & Bakery)we rely on you:
- Controls quality of produced product by overseeing preparation and maintenance of recipe cards.
- Sets and maintains service standards.
- Oversees scheduling of Pastry and Bakery staff to ensure maximum productivity.
- Monitors performance of Pastry and Bakery staff and communicates this to each staff member either personally or through the Chef de Partie on a regular basis through counseling.
- Ensures that Pastry and Bakery staff adhere to the rules and regulations of the Hotel.
- Adheres to and enforces Standard Hygiene and Sanitation Measures and practices, at all times, whilst handling, preparing, serving and storing all foodstuffs and other related products or equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3years pastry experience post-apprenticeship.
- Good command in writing & speaking English. Able to speak other languages will be an added advantage.
- Confident and service oriented, motivator and a team builder.
- Good health and physically active.
- Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
