In Room Dining Server

Job Description:

The In-Room Dining Server provides customers food and beverage items to their guest rooms in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner.

General Responsibilities Include:

• Serve food and beverage items to guest rooms
• Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow specified procedures to provide prompt, efficient, and gracious customer service to guests in their rooms.
• Taking accurate inventory of all product
• Posting appropriate charges to the guest room bill
• Cleaning, maintaining and stocking inventory.
• Delivering the food/beverage to the guests' ensuring proper food/beverage item order is served to specific guest
• Returns and properly stocks all dishes for cleaning
• Promotes proper sanitation and safety for guests and colleagues at all times
• Preparing and Delivering service trays
• Picking up tables and trays after service
• Deliver amenities to guest rooms

 

Skills/Knowledge Required:

-Must possess a positive attitude
-Must be energetic and outgoing
-Must be service oriented
-Must be a team player
-Must be able to multi-task

 

Physical Requirements:

-Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks

-Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40lbs. on a regular and continuing basis

-Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length

 

Qualification Standards:

Education: High school or equivalent education preferred.

Experience:   1 to 2 years previous experience in a similar position

Licenses or Certificates: Food Handler Certification Required

Grooming: All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)

The expected pay for this position i: $15.50 per hour.
