About the job
Vila Joya is seeking to recruit a Reservations agent to work on selling Vila Joya to its maximum occupancy, handling all incoming reservations for the Vila and the restaurant in a courteous and professional manner in accordance with the guests needs. Must be fluent in speaking and writing perfect English, Portuguese, Spanish and German would be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inputs all reservations immediately and accurately into the SYSTEM ensuring that all codes, rates are correctly used.
• Ensures that all correspondence are filed correctly and neatly and all files kept up to date and in order.
• Ensures that all telephone inquiries are handled promptly and efficiently and in a courteous manner.
• Ensures that all e-mail and phone calls are dealt with efficiently and replies are sent as fast as possible.
• Performs any other duties as requested by Management.

About you
Our ideal candidate must possess:
• Awareness of the services and facilities available and ability to capitalize on all opportunities to increase sales.
• Ability to be conversant and confident with the reservations of the Vila and the Restaurant
• Complete workable knowledge of the Reservations Department.
• Strong relationship management skills, excellent organisational skills as well as good computer skills in Front office softwares and Microsoft Office programs.
• Good coordinating skills along with the ability to work with many competing deadlines.
• Strong ability to work well with others and overtime if needed.
• Possibility of home office work.
