Job Description
- Check all merchandise entering and leaving the resort for proper documentation and authorization.
- Handing over all the finished GRNs to the Accounts Department
- Handing over all finished issue vouchers and transfer vouchers to the Accounts Department.
- Check that all goods received are in good condition with regards to the quality and quantity stated in the invoice, delivery note, and purchase order.
- Prepare a discrepancy report for goods delivered less than the invoiced quantity. If goods are delivered in an unacceptable manner or in damaged condition, get approval from the general manager, financial controller, or cost controller and advise the supplier.
- Assist accounting personnel in the periodic verification of physical inventories in all storerooms.
- Maintain the security of storage areas at all times.
- Ensure all goods received and issued are entered into the system on a daily basis.
- Check on a regular basis all items in storage for expiration dates and slow movement and report accordingly.
- Making all the records, updating all bin cards when supplies come, and verifying the physical balance.
- Making the order form on time for the supplier.
- Make the bill for the local suppliers after receiving the items in good condition.
- Ensure that goods from store rooms are issued only on a requisition authorized by the department heads and general manager.
Qualifications
- 2 years of minimum experience in store management.
- deep and demonstrated understanding of service excellence.
- excellent communication skills.
- passion for leadership and teamwork.
- eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.
- fluent in spoken and written English.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications is required.
