Who is the course for?

Lecturer Information: 👤 Dr. Matthias Fuchs is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at EHL and serves as the Director of the Institute for Customer Experience Management. He researches consumer psychology with a focus on product design and secondary markets. His work has been published in top-tier business journals such as the Journal of Marketing Research (ABS 4*, VHB A+, FT50) and the Journal of Business Ethics (FT50). Matthias and his work are covered in The New York Times, The Economic Times, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, etc. He holds a Ph.D. in marketing from the University of St. Gallen (summa cum laude), where he led various research centers and executive education programs. Prior to joining academia, Matthias spent over seven years in brand management and marketing management, at Procter & Gamble and Coty Inc. 👤 Tim Weiland is the General Manager of The Alpina Gstaad since November 2018. He’s also an alumni of EHL, and grew up between Haïti, Kenya, and South Africa, demonstrates over two decades of distinguished experience in the luxury hotel industry. Tim Weiland brings a wealth of knowledge from his current role, but also from his tenure as General Manager at three iconic Aman Hotels, and his leadership roles at the Banyan Tree hotel chain. He is a consummate professional in the luxury hospitality sector, cultivating excellence with a service-oriented mindset and a passion deeply rooted in his heart.
