"This program prepares you to launch a successful career and assume various management functions in the hospitality industry with advanced business knowledge and professional experience. The courses explore current management trends and best practices, teaching you to implement and improve service model strategies in hospitality businesses. The final capstone project includes a 12-week professional immersion allowing you to apply your new knowledge to a real-world project.
This Master in Hospitality Management is an internationally recognized MSc qualification (90 ECTS, 60 US credits). You have a choice of two specializations: F&B Management; or Hospitality Finance, Real estate and Consulting.

Admissions Requirements for the Master in Hospitality Management
✅ Academic: A Bachelor degree (or international equivalent) in hospitality, tourism, or business management. A Bachelor’s degree in any related subject may be considered but students are required to complete pre-requisite modules during the summer in order to build up fundamental knowledge in business and economics as well as contextual understanding of the hospitality industry.
✅ Professional: A minimum of six months’ professional experience in the hospitality industry is required. Internships are included. Through your cover letter and interview, you should also show your interest in hospitality and dedication to develop a career in the industry.
✅ English language: The program is taught in English; non-native English speakers need to provide language proficiency test results. The following English language tests are accepted:
- Cambridge >= C1
- IELTS 7
- TOEFL IBT 100
- Pearson > 65

Who is the course for?
According to the HES-SO conditions, the financial aid for EHL’s Master in Hospitality Management is applicable for all students of Swiss nationality who have parents residing in Switzerland or who fulfill the following conditions at the time of their registration to this master degree:
o Students of Swiss nationality whose parents live abroad, or whose mother and father are deceased and live abroad.
o Refugees and stateless persons of full age allocated to a Swiss canton, whose father and mother are deceased or whose parents live abroad.
o Foreigners of full age who have their civil residence in Switzerland, whose father and mother are deceased or whose parents live abroad.
o Foreign students of full age who have lived and worked in Switzerland on a permanent basis for at least two years.
o They must be financially independent and not be part of an academic training at the same time.
o Students who are not Swiss citizens but whose parents or legal guardians (if applicable) have their civil residence in Switzerland.
o Non-Swiss students whose parents live in the Geneva border area and who at least one of them is working in the Canton of Geneva.
