Summary of Position
The Kitchen Helper is responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness,
and ensuring that basic health and safety standards are followed in the kitchen.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensure all stocks are stored correctly, and mise-en-place is prepared on time for efficient
kitchen operations.
Recipe Adherence & Dish Presentation
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in dishes.
Kitchen Cleanliness & HACCP Compliance
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen section, ensuring adherence to basic HACCP
guidelines for food safety and sanitation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Stock & Mise-en-Place Efficiency: Ensure 100% of mise-en-place is completed on time
with no more than 2% wastage per shift.
• Recipe Adherence & Dish Presentation: Achieve a minimum of 95% accuracy in following
recipes and presentation guidelines, measured through weekly quality checks.
Kitchen Cleanliness & HACCP Compliance: Maintain 100% compliance with HACCP
standards, with no health and safety violations during monthly audits.
• Attendance & Punctuality: Maintain an attendance rate of 98% or higher and consistently
arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

About you
Qualifications
Be a Graduate
• Have 3 years’ experience in similar position
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must have a fundamental knowledge of the kitchen procedures and functions.
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to perform mathematical tasks
regarding wastages, ordering recipes functions and operate the system.
