Job Description
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of beverages and supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to meet demand.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Recruit, train, and supervise beverage service staff.
- Provide ongoing training to ensure staff are knowledgeable about products, service techniques, and company standards.
- Schedule staff effectively to meet service demands while controlling labor costs.
- Ensure that all beverages served meet quality standards.
- Monitor the preparation and presentation of beverages to maintain consistency.
- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and update beverage menus based on industry trends, customer preferences, and profitability.
- Determine pricing strategies to maximize revenue while remaining competitive.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create beverage pairings for menu items.
- Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the beverage service area.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Monitor alcohol service to ensure responsible consumption and legal compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in beverage storage and service areas.
- Monitor beverage sales and expenses to achieve budgeted targets.
- Analyze financial reports and identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
- Implement strategies to control costs and improve profitability.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in beverage management or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of different types of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in inventory management and financial analysis.
