The Sales & Marketing team is a commercially driven function where performance, leadership, and results are at the centre of success. This role represents a strong opportunity for an experienced sales leader ready to step into broader responsibility, influence market direction, and progress their career within a global hospitality group.
Job Description
This is a senior sales leadership role focused on driving commercial performance, market growth, and strategic client engagement across key segments.
You will play a key role in shaping sales direction, strengthening market presence, and supporting a high-performing commercial team within a global hotel environment. Working closely with senior leadership, you will influence strategy and contribute to overall revenue outcomes while continuing to grow your leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales and events team
- Drive revenue growth across MICE, C&E, Corporate, Inbound and Wholesale segments
- Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities
- Manage and grow key client relationships and strategic accounts
- Oversee sales activity, pipeline performance and conversion outcomes
- Develop and execute targeted sales activity across key market segments
- Contribute to forecasting, budgeting and commercial reporting
- Collaborate with Revenue, Operations and Accor sales teams
- Position the hotel as a leading conference destination in Cairns
- Champion Pullman brand standards and Accor Live Limitless engagement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior hotel sales or sales leadership role
- Strong background in Conference & Events and/or MICE markets
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and market share
- Experience leading, coaching or mentoring sales teams
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of hotel revenue drivers
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Experience within Accor or international hotel groups highly regarded
- Familiarity with Accor Live Limitless strongly desirable
- Degree in Business, Marketing or Hospitality preferred
- Full Australian working rights required
