Belle Époque Patisserie is seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. We specialise in authentic French artisan pastries, combining traditional techniques with exceptional ingredients, precision and elegant presentation.
The Role
Working alongside the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for producing consistently excellent pastries and desserts while maintaining the high standards associated with the Belle Époque name.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and finish French pastries, viennoiseries, cakes, tarts, choux and seasonal products.
- Follow recipes and production schedules accurately and consistently.
- Manage your section efficiently, including daily mise en place.
- Ensure every product meets our standards for flavour, texture and presentation.
- Monitor ingredient levels and minimise waste through careful stock rotation.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and allergen-control standards.
- Assist with developing seasonal products and new menu ideas.
- Support and guide junior members of the pastry team.
- Work collaboratively to meet daily production and service requirements.

About you
- Minimum of 1 year as a Pastry Chef de Partie or experienced Pastry Commis in a professional kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of classical French pastry techniques.
- Experience with creams, mousses, chocolate and decorative finishes.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Organised, reliable and comfortable working to deadlines.
- Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and allergen procedures.
- A genuine passion for French pâtisserie and artisan craftsmanship.
- Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Language required: English.
