Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Trainee F&B Attendant to join our team at Constance Ephelia, Seychelles. This apprenticeship programme offers an excellent opportunity to launch your career in the hospitality industry whilst working within a luxury resort environment. You will receive a 6-month comprehensive induction and on-the-job training to develop your skills in food and beverage service, guest relations, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, professionally minded, and committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain impeccable table settings, cleanliness, and presentation standards throughout service periods
- Take guest orders accurately and process payments using point-of-sale systems
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and special requirements
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and food hygiene protocols at all times
- Support team members during service to ensure smooth operations
- Learn and apply the resort's service standards and operational procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour in accordance with uniform requirements
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas as directed
- Report any issues or concerns to supervisory staff immediately
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Age: 16 years and above
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry items safely
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional work ethic
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and feedback
- Basic Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
- Basic awareness of food hygiene and safety practices
