Job Description

Join our team at the luxurious Constance Halaveli Maldives as a Bar Host! We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to create unforgettable experiences for our guests in our tropical paradise.

• Greet and welcome guests to the bar area, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere
• Take and prepare drink orders efficiently and accurately
• Recommend and upsell beverages based on guest preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards
• Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions
• Assist in inventory management and restocking of bar supplies
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to serve bar snacks and light meals
• Create and maintain a positive, energetic environment for guests and team members
• Stay updated on beverage trends and participate in menu development
• Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and responsible service of alcohol

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Basic math skills for quick calculations and inventory management
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality service
• Previous experience in bartending or hospitality (preferred)
• Knowledge of international drinks and cocktail trends
• Understanding of luxury hospitality standards
• Willingness to live and work in the Maldives
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
