Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated In-Villa Dining (IVD) Order Taker to join our luxury resort team in , Maldives. As an IVD Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences from the comfort of their villas.

• Answer incoming calls from guests and take accurate food and beverage orders
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
• Assist guests with special dietary requirements or food allergies
• Input orders into the resort's point-of-sale system with precision
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Handle guest inquiries and requests related to in-villa dining services
• Upsell additional items and promote daily specials when appropriate
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, pricing, and promotions
• Ensure all orders are accurately recorded and billed to the correct villa
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service (preferred)
• Proficiency in using computer systems and point-of-sale software
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage items, including dietary restrictions and allergies
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Food safety certification (preferred)
• Understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to work in a tropical island environment
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
