Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Assistant Human Resources Manager to join our team at the luxurious Constance Moofushi resort in the Maldives. In this role, you will support the HR Manager in overseeing various human resources functions and contribute to creating a positive work environment for our diverse staff.

• Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including screening CVs, conducting interviews, and coordinating with department heads
• Support the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures
• Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance to staff and managers
• Coordinate training and development programmes for employees
• Assist in performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records using HR management software
• Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries and benefits
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects
• Provide support in employee engagement activities and wellness programmes
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations
• Assist in the onboarding and induction process for new employees

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Proficiency in HR management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience in performance management systems
• CIPD certification or equivalent HR qualification preferred
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Willingness to relocate to the Maldives and adapt to island life
