Reservations Agent
About the job
Some create the guest experience before the guest even arrives.
We are looking for detail-oriented and service-minded Reservations Agents for our partner hotels — 4–5 star properties where every reservation, guest request, room preference, and pre-arrival conversation matters.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, accuracy, organization, and helping guests make the right choice. As a Reservations Agent, you are often the first real contact between the guest and the hotel — and your work directly shapes expectations, revenue, and the quality of the stay.
If you understand that a correct reservation can prevent tomorrow’s complaint, we would love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
* Handle room reservations by phone, email, online channels, and internal hotel systems.
* Respond to guest inquiries in a professional, warm, and timely manner.
* Create, update, and manage reservations accurately, including dates, room types, rates, packages, guest details, and special requests.
* Explain hotel services, room categories, policies, cancellation terms, deposits, and payment conditions clearly.
* Support guests with family stays, special occasions, accessibility needs, early arrivals, late check-outs, and other pre-arrival requests.
* Identify upselling opportunities and offer suitable room upgrades, packages, and additional services when appropriate.
* Coordinate closely with Front Office, Revenue, Sales, Housekeeping, F&B, Spa, and other departments.
* Monitor reservation details to prevent booking errors, duplicate reservations, wrong dates, incorrect rates, and missing guest information.
* Maintain accurate guest profiles, notes, preferences, and handovers.
* Support smooth arrivals by ensuring key information is available before the guest reaches the hotel.
What you’ll bring
* Previous experience in hotel reservations, Front Office, customer service, travel, sales, or hospitality is preferred.
* Strong written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with guest information, dates, rates, and payment details.
* Clear, polite, and confident communication by phone and email.
* Ability to explain policies and options without sounding cold or scripted.
* Good commercial awareness and confidence offering upgrades or hotel services in a guest-friendly way.
* Strong organization skills and ability to manage several requests at the same time.
* Understanding of guest privacy, data protection, and professional communication standards.
* Reliability, flexibility, and a positive team attitude.
* Experience with hotel PMS, booking systems, channel managers, or reservations platforms is an advantage.
What makes you stand out
* You know that one small reservation mistake can affect the entire guest stay.
* You are careful with details, but still warm and human in communication.
* You can turn a simple inquiry into a confirmed booking.
* You understand how to offer an upgrade without sounding pushy.
* You protect guest information and hotel procedures.
* You communicate clearly with Front Office so the team is ready before the guest arrives.
* You enjoy creating confidence before the guest even walks through the door.
