ABOUT EXPERIMENTAL ROMA

Opening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi, just off the legendary Via Veneto, Experimental Roma will be a vibrant and cinematic new destination from Experimental.

Housed in a former bank, the hotel has been transformed by interior designer Rodolphe Parente into a space that embodies the essence of la dolce vita : elegant, timeless, and irresistibly Italian.

The property will feature 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a spectacular rooftop with a suspended pool offering breathtaking views over the magnificent cityscape of Rome.

ABOUT THE JOB

Under the responsibility of the F&B Manager, the Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant by supporting and guiding the teams, while guaranteeing consistent excellence in the quality of service provided.

As a Supervisor, your role is to ensure that the highest standards of service and hospitality are delivered throughout the stay of our international clientele.

You represent Management and actively participate in resolving any guest-related issues. You work in close collaboration with the other hotel departments.

As part of their duties (non-exhaustive list), he/she will be required to:

  • Have in-depth knowledge of the menu and the composition of dishes,

  • Ensure daily satisfaction of both guests and team members,

  • Ensure compliance with setup standards for the different services (lunch and dinner),

  • Participate in and organize service for one or more sections: order taking and follow-up, table service, clearing,

  • Ensure the application of all service standards and procedures,

  • Assist Management with team training, motivation, and supervision,

  • Supervise and manage operational teams: staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations,

  • Contribute to the promotion and sales of the hotel’s services,

  • Be attentive to dietary requirements and intolerances (allergens, special diets).

 

ABOUT YOU                 

You have formal training in hospitality and hands-on experience in food service operations and team supervision within the restaurant industry.
You are dynamic, passionate, and enjoy guest interaction; routine does not suit you.

You communicate easily with both teams and guests, using appropriate and professional communication skills in Italian and English.
