Train at Riviera Dining Group, a premium Miami restaurant group (home to MILA and other top venues), on a paid J-1 Internship or Trainee program. You are placed and supported end to end by Global Career Bridge (GCB), with J-1 visa sponsorship through our official U.S. Department of State-designated J-1 sponsor partner.
WHERE & HOW LONG
Miami, Florida. 12-month structured training with a DS-7002 plan, supervisor reviews and progressive responsibility.
OPEN ROLES & PAY (paid directly by the host employer)
- Culinary & Pastry: $21-$27/hr (Culinary Intern, Pastry Intern, Sous Chef Trainee, Pastry Chef Trainee)
- - Front-of-House Reservations & Guest Experience: $26/hr (Intern or Trainee)
- - Food & Beverage Service: tipped, with $19.50/hr guaranteed if tips fall short (F&B Intern, Banquet & Events Intern, F&B Trainee)
WHO CAN APPLY (you need an EU / EEA / Swiss / UK passport, plus one of):
- J-1 Intern: currently a student, or graduated within the last 12 months
- - J-1 Trainee, Path A: a degree or certificate plus at least 1 year of relevant hospitality experience
- - J-1 Trainee, Path B: at least 5 years of relevant experience, without a degree
- Plus: English suitable for the role, a hospitality / culinary / F&B background, and availability to start Sep to Nov 2026 (apply 3-6 months ahead).

J-1 visa sponsorship (DS-2019), mandatory health insurance, DS-7002 training plan, visa-interview prep, and 24/7 in-country support from GCB.
WHAT IT COSTS (full transparency before you commit)
Start and get matched from $19 (capped at $199). You only commit to the program fee after you accept a host offer, and you see every number in writing first. Government and travel fees (SEVIS, U.S. visa, airfare) and housing are paid directly, as with any J-1.
