About the job
• Managing, maintaining and developing defined markets with a focus on leisure, luxury travel and discerning individual clients
• Actively acquiring new clients and sustainably maintaining existing client relationships
• Building and developing a network within the Swiss market and in selected international markets
• Planning, coordinating and organising sales calls, sales activities, sales trips and roadshows
• Representing the Gstaad Palace at trade fairs, workshops, luxury travel events and networking functions
• Organising and conducting Fam trips, site inspections and client events
• Preparing and following up on quotations, contracts and partnerships with tour operators, agencies, partners and direct clients
• Contributing to the development of market strategies, activity plans and creative client engagement initiatives
• Monitoring market trends, competitors and client needs to identify new business opportunities
• Compiling and maintaining sales statistics, reports and client information

About you
• You have completed professional training or a degree in the hospitality, catering or tourism sector
• You have between one and several years’ professional experience in sales, the hospitality industry, tourism or the luxury travel sector
• Knowledge of the Swiss market and initial international contacts in the leisure or luxury travel segment would be an advantage
• Motivation and a passion for sales, as well as proactive networking
• A positive attitude, confident manner and a keen instinct for dealing with discerning clients
• A results-oriented and independent approach to work
• Willingness to travel regularly and a valid driving licence
• Native-level German or French, as well as fluent written and spoken English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
• Experience using Protel or similar systems, as well as standard MS Office programmes
