Kitchen Trainee

Hilton Brussels Grand Place is looking for a passionate and motivated Kitchen Trainee for an internship of at least 3 months starting in 2026. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and professional environment, right in the heart of Brussels.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work within our restaurant and Banqueting department, where you can develop your culinary skills and learn alongside a welcoming and experienced team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Chef and kitchen team with food preparation.

• Helping to prepare ingredients and set up workstations.

• Assisting with the preparation of starters, main courses and desserts under the Chef’s supervision.

• Helping to clean and maintain workstations, kitchen utensils and equipment.

• Ensuring compliance with hygiene and food safety standards throughout all kitchen operations.

• Supporting the team in organising each service while ensuring quality and efficiency.

• Contributing to the creation and testing of new recipes under the Chef’s supervision.

• Ensuring that every dish leaves the kitchen with an impeccable presentation.

What does our ideal candidate look like?

You are fluent in French and/or English, enrolled in a hospitality school or similar programme and, above all, truly passionate about cooking and eager to learn. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
