IHG Hotels & Resorts Malta is looking for a Payable Clerk to work with a leading hospitality service provider in Malta. The Payables Clerk will be responsible for reviewing and processing invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and

 

Depending on the candidate’s experience and background, the position may be offered at Junior Payables Executive level.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into financial systems up-to-date payable records.
  • Reconcile vendor statement and accounts payable ledgers, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain secure and compliant records of invoices.
  • Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.

 

The employee shall perform any other duties reasonably assigned by management that are consistent with the scope and level of the position.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Diploma / degree or equivalent in a finance subject preferably accounting or relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central, Birchstreet and Power BI is a significant plus.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, GAAP, and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Be comfortable in a fast-paced and international environment.
