Description
The overall scope is to ensure the efficient operation of the Engineering department supporting all other operating departments. This includes supplying services as required by the entire operation and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.
The incumbent in this position is responsible to coordinate and manage the day to day maintenance and up keep of the hotel as it pertains to Engineering, under the direction of the Director of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION:
Certified Technical Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1 to 3 years in building or plant maintenance, in a similar position or promoted internally
LANGUANGE :
English – excellent oral and written skills
Maltese – beneficial
COMPETENCIES:
Customer focused and people oriented
Ability to lead and motivate a team of multi-skilled technicians
Good organizational work planning and reporting skills
Good basic computer skills in software office (word, Excel, Power Point)

- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of the real estate.
- Ensure the production and supply of energy at all times.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and the hotel’s procedures in regards to the guest contact.
- Optimize maintenance costs.
- Comply with all Kempinski company policies.
