Sales Manager (M/F)
About the job
Les Domaines de Chabran is a collection of nine exceptional private estates — historic mas, bastides and sheepfolds, restored since 2017 — in the heart of the Alpilles Regional Nature Park in Provence. Each house is rented on an exclusive basis, set among olive groves and vineyards, with a full bespoke concierge service: private chef, wellness, curated experiences and private events.
Our guests are international, discerning, and overwhelmingly English-speaking. They come to us directly and through the world's leading luxury travel agencies. Three further houses will join the collection shortly.
The roleBring in bookings, at the right rate and on the right terms, through every channel that produces them — direct, agency and social.
You report directly to Management.
- Convert every enquiry. Qualify inbound demand fast, respond with a proposal that sells the house rather than lists it, follow up relentlessly, and close.
- Sell at the right price and on the right terms. Protect rate integrity, structure length-of-stay and seasonal conditions, and negotiate deposits, cancellation terms and commissions that hold up commercially.
- Build the partner network. Luxury travel agencies, tour operators, private concierge companies, family offices, event and corporate bookers — open new accounts and turn them into repeat producers.
- Prospect actively. New business does not arrive on its own. You go and find it: outreach, trade shows, agency visits, industry events across Europe and beyond.
- Turn our social channels into a booking channel. Instagram and Meta are where a growing share of our direct demand starts. You own the commercial side of it: converting enquiries and DMs, and running paid acquisition campaigns — budget, targeting, retargeting — judged on bookings generated, not on impressions. Editorial direction and content stay with Management; you work hand in hand with them.
- Fill the gaps in the calendar. Take ownership of occupancy across all nine houses — shoulder season, mid-week, last-minute, long stays. You know where the holes are before anyone asks.
- Report on what matters. Revenue, conversion rate, occupancy by house and season, average booking value, partner production, cost per acquisition on paid campaigns. You track your own numbers and you bring them to Management. You work hand in hand with the team who welcome and look after our guests on site: a booking is only worth what the stay delivers, and a great stay is your best route to the next booking. You will meet key guests and agency partners in person — but the daily running of the stays is not yours to carry.
- Benefits Monthly objectives bonus, company profit-sharing scheme (accord d'intéressement), health cover, business mileage and travel expenses reimbursed

About you
Essential
- At least 5 years' proven sales track record in luxury villa rental, luxury hospitality, bespoke travel or an equivalent premium environment — with numbers you can talk us through.
- You are a closer. You are comfortable asking for the booking, comfortable holding a price, and comfortable following up for the fourth time.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken — the large majority of our guests and partners are English-speaking. Working French required for internal coordination.
- Genuine ease with high-net-worth international clients: judgement, poise and absolute discretion.
- Strong command of commercial systems (CRM, PMS, channel managers) and confident with digital tools.
- Hands-on experience running paid social campaigns (Meta Business Suite / Ads Manager) with a direct-booking or lead-generation objective — you can read a cost per acquisition and act on it.
- Driving licence and your own vehicle — the collection sits in a rural area with no public transport, and the role involves travel between the houses. Business mileage is reimbursed.
Desirable
- An existing book of luxury travel agencies, private concierge companies or high-end event bookers.
- A third language (Spanish, Russian).
- Knowledge of Provence and the South of France as a destination.
What will set you apart: autonomy. We are looking for someone who takes full ownership of the commercial pipeline, structures their own prospecting, and carries their targets without daily supervision.
- Language required: English. French is a plus
