About the job

We are looking for an experienced, strong leadership, and structured Executive Chef (m/f/d) for our client – a modern restaurant group with three successful locations and a central production kitchen in Vienna.


The concept combines modern Easy Dining with authentic Mexican cuisine – clear, efficient, and full of flavor.


Your responsibilities:


  • Creative and targeted development of an urban, trend-conscious Mexican kitchen – focusing on distinctive dishes in the Easy Dining style with character and recognition value


  • Overall responsibility for 4 kitchens, including the central production structure Leadership and development of kitchen chiefs, cooks, and dishwashers (approx. 40 employees in total)


  • Control and optimization of goods usage, food cost, and inventory management


  • Responsibility for contact and selection of central suppliers


  • Optimization of processes between production, locations, and service


  • Training of new employees and ensuring quality standards


  • Close cooperation with management

About you

  • Several years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in high-volume or multi-unit operations


  • Strong leadership skills – you build teams, not break them down


  • Passion for authentic Mexican cuisine with a professional approach


  • Structured and proactive working style – you think in solutions, not problems


  • Experience with cost calculation, inventory management, and supplier coordination


  • Confident communication skills – able to interact professionally with management, suppliers, and team alike


  • Ideally, EU work permit
  • Language required: English. Spanish is a plus
