We are growing and looking for experienced:
- Head Baker – Bakery Operations
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Head Baker to join our bakery operations team. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Production Manager and will play a key role in managing daily bakery production, maintaining product quality standards, and supporting operational efficiency.
✅ Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Baker or Senior Baker in a professional bakery environment
- Strong knowledge of Maltese bakery products and production methods
- Experience working with automatic bread production lines
- Good understanding of bakery operations and production management
- HACCP and food safety knowledge is mandatory
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to cleanliness, discipline, and operational standards
✅Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume bakery production
- Knowledge of frozen and fresh bakery production processes
- Experience managing teams within industrial bakery operations

About you
✅ Main Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily bakery production operations
- Follow and execute company recipes and production standards accurately
- Operate and supervise automatic bread production lines and bakery equipment
- Ensure consistent product quality and production performance
- Manage and coordinate incoming bakery orders and production planning
- Support the Production Manager in daily operational activities
- Monitor stock usage and coordinate production requirements
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace organization
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety procedures
- Supervise bakery staff and maintain efficient workflow within the department
- Assist in developing and improving bakery processes when required
- Language required: English. Italian and Maltese are a plus
