Independent Chef I for Nieuwe Tijd

We are a Chinese International Cuisine restaurant Nieuwe Tijd and we are 

looking for an Independent Working Chef I to strengthen our kitchen team. 

Do you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a dynamic kitchen 

environment? Then you would be a perfect fit for us! You will assist in 

preparing dishes and work closely with our kitchen team. You are able to 

work both independently and as part of a team, and you take responsibility

Your Responsibilities:

• Selecting and preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.)
• Conducting intermediate checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) and making adjustments as needed.
• Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.
• Supervising the work of kitchen assistants(hulpkracht) and making corrections where necessary
• Keeping track of stock levels, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries.
• Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations.
• Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.
• Providing input regarding the composition and adjustments of menus, the menu list, and working methods
