About the job

The pizza chef will be responsible for crafting high-quality pizzas from scratch, overseeing the entire process from dough fermentation to baking. Key duties include preparing dough and sauces, slicing ingredients, managing oven temperatures, and adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standard.


Key Responsabilties:

  • Dough & Sauce Preparation: Prepare, proof, and stretch pizza dough. Make fresh sauces, including tomato, pesto, and white cream.


  • Ingredient Prep: Wash and chop vegetables; slice and cook meats; and grate cheeses to standard.


  • Cooking & Baking: Assemble pizzas to menu specifications, monitor pizza oven temperatures, and ensure perfect crust baking and melt consistency.


  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean work stations, sterilise equipment, and maintain a sanitary environment that strictly follows health and safety standards.


  • Inventory & Ordering: Monitor food stock levels, track ingredient usage, and assist in placing supply orders to prevent waste.

About you

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • Culinary Expertise: Strong knowledge of pizza recipes.


  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and endure high-temperature kitchen environments.


  • Speed & Organisation: Capacity to manage multiple, simultaneous orders while maintaining quality and accuracy during busy rushes.


  • Teamwork: Excellent communication with waitstaff, prep cooks, and management to ensure timely service.


  • At least one year of commercial kitchen experience.


  • Certifications in Food Hygiene and Safety.



  • Language required: English.
