Assistant Hotel Manager

As assistant hotel manager, you are the right hand of the hotel manager and ready to step in when needed. You assist in managing the entire hotel operation on board and guarantee guest satisfaction and a pleasant working environment for the crew. You take over the main tasks of the hotel manager when needed: the day-to-day management of staff, creating their schedules, setting an example for the crew and provide training and coaching to reach Scylla standards. Based on the wishes of our tour operators, you ensure a smooth operation of all cruises on board of your vessel and make sure to exceed our guests’ expectations.

• First management experience within hospitality with outstanding and proven management skills and hands-on experience
• Eager to learn and grow towards the position of hotel manager
• Preferably a degree in hospitality management and/or previous (river) cruise experience
• Knowledge in all hotel operations, including F&B, housekeeping and reception
• Strong leadership abilities and management skills
