Seasons Collection is seeking an experienced Residential Host with a strong background in luxury hospitality, fine dining, private chalets, or superyachts to join our Niseko residences for the upcoming winter season.
This role is ideally suited to candidates eligible for a Japan Working Holiday Visa, offering a unique opportunity to combine high-end hospitality experience with a seasonal lifestyle in one of the world’s premier ski destinations.

Role Purpose
Reporting to: Senior Residential Host
The Residential Host plays a key role in delivering the day-to-day guest experience across the residences, ensuring that every interaction is thoughtful, seamless, and aligned with Seasons Collection standards.
Working closely under the guidance of the Senior Residential Host, and in coordination with the Residence Operations Manager, this role supports all aspects of the in-residence experience — from preparation and service delivery through to maintaining the overall presentation and flow of the home.
This position is suited to individuals who bring a strong service mindset, adaptability, and a genuine passion for creating memorable guest moments in a private, high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Arrival Preparation
- Support the preparation of residences prior to guest arrival, ensuring all spaces are set to the highest standards.
- Assist in reviewing guest preferences, itineraries, and special requirements as briefed by senior team members.
- Prepare guest areas, including dining and lounge spaces, in line with the planned experience.
- Ensure readiness across both residences in line with operational needs.
2. Guest Experience & Service Delivery
- Deliver attentive, personalised, and discreet service throughout the guest stay.
- Support the overall flow of the guest experience across the day, from morning through evening.
- Assist with service moments including breakfast, light dining, and evening service where required.
- Maintain a professional and polished presence in all guest-facing environments.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond with efficiency and care.
- Adapt service style to individual guest preferences and residence dynamics.
3. Residence Presentation & Standards
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all guest areas.
- Support the setup and resetting of guest spaces, ensuring consistency and attention to detail.
- Ensure all service areas, equipment, and materials are maintained to Seasons standards.
- Take pride in the overall look and feel of the residence at all times.
4. Coordination & Daily Operations
- Work closely with Senior Hosts, Culinary, and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Support day-to-day logistics and service flow as directed.
- Remain flexible to support both residences depending on occupancy and operational requirements. Contribute to a smooth, well-coordinated guest journey.
5. Team Collaboration
- Operate as an engaged and supportive team member.
- Follow direction from senior team members while demonstrating initiative.
- Communicate clearly and effectively across all departments.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and high-performing team culture.
6. Compliance & Safety
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Always maintain safe working practices.
- Adhere to all operational procedures and guidelines.
7. Cultural Awareness, Discretion & Conduct

- Maintain a polished and professional appearance in line with brand expectations.
- Act as a brand ambassador of Seasons Collection in all interactions.

Candidate Profile
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or guest-facing roles.
- Exposure to luxury hospitality, chalets, hotels, or similar environments is advantageous.
- Experience in seasonal or fast-paced environments beneficial.

Visa Eligibility
This role is structured as a seasonal position aligned with Japan’s Working Holiday Visa framework.
Applicants must be eligible to obtain a Working Holiday Visa or hold valid working rights in Japan.
