THE OPPORTUNITY
Seasons Collection is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead the seasonal operation of its ultra-luxury private residences in Niseko.
Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, the General Manager will oversee the complete guest experience, property operations, team leadership, financial control and local stakeholder relationships across The Residence and The Retreat.
Commencing on 15 September, you will lead pre-season preparations and serve as the senior on-site decision-maker throughout the winter season.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead pre-season planning, property readiness, recruitment, onboarding and team training.
- Oversee the complete guest journey and deliver highly personalised, discreet service to high-net-worth individuals and private guests.
- Lead all residence operations, including guest service, culinary, housekeeping, concierge, transport, maintenance and administration.
- Manage budgets, purchasing, reporting, compliance, suppliers and operational risks.
- Maintain exceptional service, presentation and safety standards across both residences.
ABOUT YOU
- Seven to ten years of senior leadership experience in luxury hospitality, private residences, chalets or resorts.
- Proven experience managing complete property operations, budgets and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience serving high-net-worth individuals and private guests with complete discretion.
- An exceptional communicator who is calm, organised, decisive and solutions-focused.
- Excellent engagement skills, with the ability to connect effectively with high-net-worth individuals and guests.
- Culturally aware and respectful of Japanese customs.
- Hold valid working rights in Japan, or be eligible to obtain the appropriate Certificate of Eligibility and work visa/status of residence.
This is a defined seasonal appointment from 15 September to 31 March. Any opportunity to extend the association beyond this period is not guaranteed.
