POSITION SUMMARY
The Sous Chef reports directly to the Executive Chef and will be responsible for the following duties:
- Supervising the kitchen team
- Standing in for the Chef in his absence and taking over all his duties when required
- Assigning tasks to kitchen staff
- Planning preparations and ensuring that all dishes adhere to the agreed recipes and presentation standards
- Create menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef
- Monitor stock levels and oversee warehouse management
- Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations (HACCP) and workplace safety standards
- Manage and resolve any issues quickly and effectively
- Monitor team performance, product quality and production flows, promoting continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively with the team and other departments
- Oversee staff training and team development
- Communicate any requirements for additional staff
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef
- Leadership and decision-making skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Teamwork

Nel nostro Hotel abbiamo implementato Sanixair: un sistema di sanificazione, attivo 24 ore al giorno, che utilizza il principio fotochimico della P.C.O. (Ossidazione Fotocatalitica). Questa tecnologia è implementata dalla NASA per la sanificazione degli ambienti per le missioni aerospaziali. In 24 ore di utilizzo dei sistemi Sanixair, si ottiene la disinfezione degli ambienti da elementi nocivi e inquinanti e la distruzione del carico microbico. L’hotel è situato vicino allo stadio di San Siro e collegato comodamente con gli aeroporti, con l’autostrada e con i principali quartieri di Milano. Lo stile modernista caratterizza i suoi spazi ispirati al design milanese. L’hotel dispone di 310 camere, incluse 24 suite e una suite Presidential, che consentono di provare tutte le esclusive esperienze Sheraton, come l’accesso alla Sheraton Club, alla SPA e al fitness center aperto 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7.
