We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Operations & Administrative Intern to join the team at SLS Barcelona. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Management team, this role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all F&B outlets while developing a strong understanding of the administrative and commercial aspects of hotel operations.
This position is ideal for someone looking to build a well-rounded career in Food & Beverage by combining operational exposure with administrative responsibilities. More specifically:
Administrative & Management Support
Provide administrative support to the Food & Beverage leadership team in their day-to-day activities.
Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Help maintain and update menus, product information, pricing, and POS systems.
Assist with departmental documentation, procedures, and internal communications.
Support the preparation of presentations and business reviews for management meetings.
Scheduling & Workforce Planning
Support managers in the preparation and maintenance of team schedules and staffing plans.
Ensure scheduling information is accurately updated and communicated.
Operational Exposure & Outlet Support:
Gain practical experience across several Food & Beverage outlets, supporting daily operations and service delivery.
Greet all guests warmly and by name, escort guests to their table, provide chair assistance for all guests, and menu presentation.
Approach guests and collect information needed to assist with seat arrangements.
Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves.
To serve food and beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
To be knowledgeable about products available.
Work with the rest of the team in keeping things running smoothly and tidily, for both table and bar service.
Support the implementation of brand standards and service excellence initiatives.

About you
You´re studying a bachelor´s/master´s degree in hospitality or a related field.
You have the possibility to sign an agreement with your school for a period of preferably 6 months.
Education: Degree in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of hotel food & beverage systems and software is a plus.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Multitasking & Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for detail.
Adaptability: Quick to learn and adapt to the unique culture and standards at SLS Barcelona.
Positive Attitude: A humble, open-minded individual with a collaborative approach who thrives in a dynamic team environment. You embrace new ideas and are always open to doing things differently.
