Who we're looking for…

Are you passionate about maintenance and take pride in ensuring every detail is flawlessly presented? As a Painter, you will help preserve the appearance and condition of the resort, ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities consistently reflect the highest standards of quality, elegance, and excellence that define The Ritz-Carlton.

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and quality-driven professional who can work both independently and collaboratively to maintain our facilities in outstanding condition.

Your responsibilities include…

  • Carry out interior and exterior painting work in guest rooms, public areas, offices, and back-of-house spaces throughout the resort.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, repairing, priming, and protecting them before applying paint or other finishes.
  • Perform touch-up work, restoration, and preventive maintenance to preserve the appearance and quality of the resort's facilities.
  • Select and properly use paints, enamels, varnishes, tools, and materials appropriate for each project.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas during and after each task.
  • Coordinate painting activities with the Engineering department and other operational teams to minimize any impact on the guest experience.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify painting and cosmetic maintenance needs.
  • Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Follow Marriott International's health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
  • Support the Engineering team with other basic maintenance tasks whenever required.

What we expect from you…

  • Secondary education or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Painter, preferably within hotels, commercial buildings, or large-scale facilities.
  • Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and the application of different types of coatings and finishes.
  • Experience using hand tools and painting equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
  • Basic general maintenance knowledge is considered an advantage.
  • Valid authorization to work in Spain.
